Advanced Trial Advocacy

The Advanced Trial Advocacy Course is a five day, practically orientated course which teaches the delegate all the basic skills of litigation. This course comprises of presentations by our training team on the core litigation skills and each delegate will be provided with a learner handbook to follow the presentations with. The course is primarily focused on moot court practicals where each delegate will be given an opportunity to practice these skills in a simulated court environment.

On successful completion of the course, the delegate will be provided with a certificate which will satisfy the requirements of Section 25 and Rule 30 of the Legal Practice Act No 28 of 2014 relating to the obtaining of right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa.

This course is ideally suited for the junior lawyer who has either little or no court litigation experience. Law graduates who have completed their degree but who have not begun employment will also find the course useful in obtaining litigation skills necessary for later court work.
