We have been providing classroom training to a wide range of learners on topics relevant to the criminal justice system for several years. This includes lawyers, students, officials of the NPA and SAPS, retail security staff and forensic investigators. Kevin is also an environmental lawyer and we have also provided training to those involved in the fight against wildlife crime. We have also successfully managed several big projects in this regard and provided training services to Field Rangers and Managers and other environmental specialists throughout the country. We have partnered with the Department of Environmental affairs, WWF, Endangered Wildlife Trust and Traffic in these matters. We have also provided training for the UNODC in both online and also a Training course for scientists and rangers involved in wildlife crime in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

"Both directors have been working in the criminal justice system for over 30 years, giving us a wealth of experience to pass on"

Both Kevin and Mark are very passionate about training and have a very practical method of training where focus is mostly directed at how to do things.

Directors

Both directors have been working in the criminal justice system for over 30 years, giving us a wealth of experience to pass on to those who wish to engage in our training. Mark Dyson worked for 25 years with the NPA and prosecuted in a number of courts and in a wide range of different cases. He was also a manager (SPP) and a Training Officer. He provided training courses for over 15 years to both junior and senior prosecutors in a variety of topics relevant to prosecuting skills. He was also one of the founders of the current Aspirant Prosecutors program and developed training material for this course. Kevin started his career as an articled clerk in a law firm in Bloemfontien before joining Mark as a colleague at the NPA in Durban. He too prosecuted in various courts and started to specialise in the wildlife crime cases. He was also a SPP and left in 1999 to start his own law firm which he currently practices from. He is a specialist environmental lawyer and has provided legal services to the DEFF, iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and to the United Nations where he has sat on various panels at international level providing both training, legal advices and input on wildlife crime that affect not only South Africa but the world.
